Payment

You will be required to pay by cash or card immediately after your appointment (unless you have already paid in advance).

Insurance

Our medical treatments are covered by private medical insurance – you will typically be able to be reimbursed by your insurer. Please call your insurance company to determine how much they will reimburse and for how many visits, as it will depend on your individual policy. We will provide you all the clinic notes and invoices that you might need for reimbursement.

Home Visits

Possible within 30 minutes drive from the clinic. Please contact us for further details.

Important Requirements For Your First Visit

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete intake forms on your first visit.

For Physiotherapy or Osteopathy, please bring a referral from a licensed Doctor to your first appointment; this is a regulatory requirement and we cannot treat patients without a referral. This is not a regulatory requirement for other treatment types, but may still be required for your insurer.

Getting a Doctor referral is a simple process.

You can either – (i) visit your regular Doctor, (ii) visit one of our Family Medicine Consultants at The International Medical Centre (5 mins from TIPC Markhiya – opposite the College of North Atlantic) or (iii) we can inform you of other Doctors in Markhiya and Waab. We are happy to arrange the appointment for you – this is only a short appointment up-front, the cost of which will typically be covered by your insurer.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours notice by phone or email, or the full amount is payable.

Please contact us if you have any further questions.
We look forward to welcoming you to The International Physiotherapy Centre.
