Jo-Anne is a highly experienced Pilates Instructor with a background in competitive gymnastics and dance. She competed at the highest level for her country in many international events including the Commonwealth Games and All Africa Games, where she proudly became the All-African Champion in three disciplines. Her lifelong passion for movement has always been focused on enhancing her strength, fitness and flexibility.

She considers Pilates to be the ultimate form of physical exercise & movement. With her extensive background she specialises in guiding individuals of all fitness levels through personalised, specifically-tailored Pilates exercises that promote healing, strength & flexibility. With certifications in both mat and reformer Pilates, as well as a deep understanding of the body’s mechanics, Jo-Anne is committed to helping her clients achieve physical goals and overall well-being.

Professional Qualifications:

Jo-Anne certified in mat work through BASI Pilates from Body Arts and Science International™ and received her certification in Reformer and Total Barre through STOTT Pilates™.

She is also a qualified Rhythmic & Artistic Gymnastics coach and judge, with a Masters Diploma in ballroom dancing.

Previous Experience:

After retiring from gymnastics, Jo-Anne’s deep love of movement and teaching was channelled into establishing and managing her own successful Pilates studio and gymnastics club in South Africa. With over 30 years of experience, she is committed to guiding all her clients toward optimal strength, endurance, flexibility and posture.
