Maria employs an integrative therapeutic approach, blending psychodynamic, family / systemic and analytical therapies. She specialises in working with adults, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, phobias, parental & professional burnout, dysfunctional family dynamics, relationship difficulties, co-dependency, healthy boundaries and post-traumatic rehabilitation.

Maria is dedicated to facilitating a collaborative therapeutic journey, empowering individuals to discover their inner resources and navigate their limitations with tailored and personalised strategies.

Maria practices in English, French and Arabic.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik USEK (Lebanon)
  • Diploma in Systemic & Family Therapy from I.E.F.S.H. (Belgium)
  • Diploma in Mulit-dimensional Analytical Therapy from Center Tabyeen (Lebanon)
  • DEA in Clinical Psychology from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik USEK (Lebanon)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Lebanese University (Lebanon)

Previous Experience:

Maria has extensive experience in private practice. Since 2009, she has operated her own practice focusing on family and individual therapy in the community.

She has also been committed to NGO work, helping under-privileged families and refugees. She has worked with UNICEF in the child protection sector, as a Child Protection & Gender Based Violence Coordinator, and has held the position of Program Coordinator & Psychologist for two shelters for abused women and children.
