Lara has a diverse background, having achieved a Bachelors Degree focusing on Health Sciences and a Masters Degree focusing on Genomics & Precision Medicine before she decided to become a Physiotherapist. She has a passion for helping her patients take control of their overall health, empathetically understanding their issues and working with them to achieve their goals.
As a Physiotherapist she works with a wide range of Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal injuries & restrictions. Lara also has a special interest working with women during pregnancy and pre / post-partum, and treats a wide range of Women’s Health conditions. She is fluent in English and Arabic, and enjoys treating patients from all over the world.
Professional Qualifications:
Lara has a MSc in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in Canada. She also has Level 1 & Level 2 certifications in Women’s Health from Pelvic Health Solutions, and is certified in Functional Intramuscular Dry Needling.
Previous Experience:
Prior to joining The International Physiotherapy Centre, Lara spent her career training and working in Canada. Most recently she was an Orthopedic & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist at Triangle Physiotherapy, a leading group of Physiotherapy clinics in Toronto and Mississauga.
