Maryia is an experienced medical professional with a deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She takes a holistic approach, looking at the patient’s pain, restrictions and other symptoms, and tailors her medical massages to not just address the immediate issues, but also enhance overall health and wellbeing.
Professional Qualifications:
Maryia graduated as a Doctor in her native Belarus, achieving a Degree in General Medicine from the Belarusian State Medical University. She decided to change her career to focus on health and wellbeing, and qualified as a Massage Therapist at the prestigious Elegance Academy in Nice, France and Cinq Mondes in Paris, France. In 2019, she placed third in the neuromuscular massage therapy category in the global spa and wellness congress in France.
Previous Experience:
After working as a doctor for 3 years in Belarus, Maryia has worked in a number of exclusive hotels and spas around the world as a Massage Therapist. Joining The International Physiotherapy Centre reflects her desire to utilise her medical knowledge to enhance her Medical Massage therapy.
