Michelle is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 15 years of practice across the UK & Australia. She works with clients of all ages, with an interest in sports injuries, spinal conditions and supporting women during their pregnancy and post-partum journey.
Her approach is holistic and evidence-based, combining manual therapy with exercise rehabilitation using a carefully crafted personable & approachable style that puts her clients at complete ease. You can expect a high-quality assessment and pragmatic treatment plan that places importance on all aspects of your whole person and wellbeing journey.
Michelle earned her Bachelor’s Degree with honours in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK, followed by a Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the same University. She is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) and has completed a number of postgraduate courses aiming to advance her practice in the treatment of headaches, jaw pain and spinal pain.
In addition, she is fully trained in equipment clinical Pilates and musculoskeletal dry needling. Most recently, Michelle completed training in Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT) – a pioneering approach when working with those suffering persistent neck or low back pain.
Before joining The International Physiotherapy Centre, Michelle was working for the UK’s largest private hospital network in an advanced practice role – providing diagnosis and treatment recommendations in complex and high risk cases.
Whilst working in Australia, she worked in a number of leading private clinics in Sydney, where she specialised in sports, spinal and women’s health physiotherapy.
