Tess works with children, adolescents and families. Her education focused on child development through adolescence, providing preventive education and therapeutic intervention. Tess’s therapy involves teaching skills and therapeutic coping mechanisms for children, as well as providing family guidance for their care-givers. With her open and engaged approach, she strives to build a bond and deliver tailored support. Every child and family is unique.
She also works with a wide range of behavioral and mood disorders, helping individuals cope with panic, anxiety, stress and various life challenges. It is her passion to help children, adolescents and their parents re-consider perceived obstacles and create change.
Tess earned her degree as a developmental psychologist in 2013 and has worked in various roles and settings. She began her career in a social work setting, supporting children and families with developmental issues. She has also worked in private community care institutions, providing patients with individual psychological therapy. Most recently, she worked at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, providing mental health care to students, including counselling and preventive care.
